Do you need a reformer machine to get a great workout or Pilates as well? I've tried some mat training to use such Winsor Pilates DVD drive, and I could feel my task than I had expected. Taking a few private lessons to get the reason seems to be the best option for exercise mats DVD route.

Has anyone purchased a Reformer machine? What are the differences between Pilates and Pilates machine?
